"Good Vibes Only"

A big motto in my life is "Good Vibes Only."

Many people think of this as a "Stoner" quote but I don't do drugs and this quote still plays an important part in my everyday life. If you read my post about vibes you know they are very present in everyday life, almost like a set of emotions but more the atmospheric vibe or feeling you are experiencing. If you're not careful, bad or overpowering gloomy vibes can creep into your day... For example, you are having a really crappy day and you fall into a hole of negativity or "bad vibes." Once you find yourself in this state you need to rebuild good vibes into your day.

Good vibes can be very calming, energetic, and joyful all at the same time. A good vibe can be simply putting on a beyonce cd and dancing around your room. All good vibes in a situation like that. When you surround your atmosphere with positivity and good vibes you find yourself in a new place of peace and calmness to continue your day with a fresh new energy.

Another thing that can play a positive part in having good vibes in your life is physical activities and things that involve movement. Many people see this as exercise which yes, is very good for you. This does not give positive vibes off for everyone though. Simple things like using a pack of play dough while you engage in a meeting or conversation to keep your brain in a positive mindset or going to a coffee shop and getting your favorite drink and pastry while you hammer away at work or studying. This incorporates something you really enjoy that makes you happy (a positive vibe) into something you don't like or that weighs you down (a negative vibe.)

Learning how to think on a daily basis "Good vibes only" consistently shuts the negative vibes out and makes you generally happier and more efficient.

Vibes?

VIBE- "A person's emotional state or the atmosphere of a place as communicated to and felt by others."

I feel like these are two very important things and factors of life, why? Because vibes are constantly affecting the way we feel about ourselves, others, situations, and where we find ourselves in life. Vibes are healthy factors of how we process and live each day of our lives. What vibes are you getting from this post? What vibes are you getting from where you are at this moment? See?
